JY Trainer I ($995 [8 Weeks])

Time: Mon, Wed 8:15 – 9:45 AM
Tues, Thurs 10:15 – 11:45 AM

Prerequisite: Sailors must have completed Kindergarten and be 6 years old at the start of the Program. This 8 week program introduces children to sailing at a reasonable cost and without boat ownership. Fundamental skills and confidence around the water are stressed

 

JY Trainer II ($2000 [8 Weeks])

Time: Mon, Wed, Fri 10:15 AM – 12:45 PM

Prerequisite: JY Trainer I This 8 week course further develops the skills taught in JY I with more class time on the water. Sailors will spend 7.5 hours a week over 3 days building their confidence and on water endurance.

 

Opti I ($3,440 [8 Weeks])

Time: Mon to Fri 9 AM – 12 PM

Prerequisite: JY II, JY I with Sailing Director approval or sailors must be 8 years old. This 8 week class covers the basics of sailing and develop confidence on the water. Sailors also learn to properly rig, maintain, and store their equipment. Bow bumpers required

 

Opti II ($2,655 [4 Weeks] -- $3,440 [8 Weeks])

Time: Mon to Fri 8:30 – 11:30 AM

Prerequisite: Opti I. This 4 or 8 week class reinforces Opti I skills and also introduces basic racing skills and new tactics. Regatta participation is not encouraged without Sailing Director approval. Bow bumpers, top covers and dollys are required.

 

Opti III ($2,655 [4 Weeks] -- $3,440 [8 Weeks])

Time: Mon to Fri 1:30 – 4:30 PM

Prerequisite: Opti II. This 4 or 8 week program is designed to increase abilities in rigging, racing tactics, and skill drills. Opportunities for destination sailing, weather permitting. Participation in local events is encouraged and in JSALIS events with Sailing Director approval. Dolly required and top cover required for those attending regattas

 

Opti ADV ($2,655 [4 Weeks] -- $3,440 [8 Weeks])

Time: Mon to Fri 1:30 – 4:30 PM

Prerequisite: Opti III. In this 4 or 8 week program sailors are divided into groups based on abilities and interest level. Participation in local events is encouraged and in JSALIS and National events with Sailing Director approval. Dolly required and top cover required for those attending regattas.

 

Laser AM ($2,655 [4 Weeks] -- $3,440 [8 Weeks])

Time: Mon to Fri 8:30 – 11:30 AM

Prerequisite: Sailor is a minimum of 14 years old and weighs at least 100 lbs or has the approval of the Sailing Director. In this 4 or 8 week program rigging, laser sailing techniques and specific racing skills are taught. Participation in local events is encouraged with Sailing Director approval. Boat ownership is required.

 

Laser PM ($2,655 [4 Weeks] -- $3,440 [8 Weeks])

Time: Mon to Fri 1:30 – 4:30 AM

Prerequisite: Laser AM or C420 AM. For the intermediate and experienced Laser sailor. A choice of 4 or 8 week program which meets 4-days-a-week scheduled around regattas. Specific days may vary on a weekly basis. A 5th day is available for open sail. Sailors are encouraged to race in local regattas and may participate in JSALIS and National regattas with Sailing Director approval. Boat ownership is required.

 

420 AM ($2,655 Boat Owner/$3,320 Boat Renter [4 Weeks] -- $3,440 boat owner/$4105 boat renter [8 Weeks])

Time: Mon to Fri 8:30 – 11:30 AM

Prerequisite: C420 sailor is a minimum of 14 years old and weighs at least 100 lbs or has the approval of the Sailing Director. This 4 or 8 week program covers basic racing tactics and skill drills on this two-person boat. Sailors also learn to rig, maintain, and store equipment. Participation in local events with Sailing Director approval.

 

420 PM ($2,655 Boat Owner/$3,320 Boat Renter [4 Weeks] -- $3,440 Boat Owner/$4105 Boat Renter [8 Weeks])

Time: Mon to Fri 1:30 – 4:30 PM

Prerequisite: 420 AM This 4 or 8 week class meets 4-days-a-week scheduled around regattas. Specific days may vary on a weekly basis. A 5th day is available for open sail. Sailors are encouraged to race in local regattas and may participate in JSALIS and National regattas with Sailing Director approval.
